Sky Lounge

New York City
Connecting the interior to the lofty Central Park view provided the design direction. The furniture and detailing were simple, allowing the exterior view to dominate the aesthetics. Using an interior greenhouse and large folding panels allowed for rooms to overlap creating a high rise loft experience. All the furniture was created to enhance this unique experience.

Central Park Arts & Crafts

New York City
We interpreted themes from the Arts & Crafts period with coved and coffered ceilings, and altered the scale of all the board and batten, resulting in open-loft feeling over the Central Park Reservoir. The program required a simple backdrop for eccentric period furniture and art. The kitchen was doubled in size to create an alternate entertaining space complete with walnut butcher block counters, cabinets and a flexible pulley lighting system reminiscent of old european gymnasiums.

Murray Hill Townhouse

New York City
To fulfill the client’s program it was necessary to totally transform the circulation for this townhouse with a garden. The main “gallery” was organized around a sliver garden and kitchen lounge. Each room has a distinct atmosphere. The main “salon” is a study in eclectic inspiration centered on a 1800’s French settee. The minimalist detailing provides a neutral background to the client’s extensive art collection.

Fifth Avenue Pied-a-terre

New York City
To construct a minimalist neutral setting for these clients’ extensive art collection, we created sculptural walls in wood. The paneling serves as room dividers, storage and closet space. With the restrained neutral palette we linked the entertaining rooms around an entry gallery and a series of secret doorways and hidden rooms. All the furniture was created to compliment this austere environment.

Soho White Loft

New York City
This Soho loft transformation was a study in white. Employing large scale sculptural elements like the ebony wood entry and fireplace, the lacquered wood kitchen, the loft was recreated into a series of rooms within rooms. The white lacquer cabinets aborb the hue of the state-of-the-art LED color lighting system that morphs the apartment ambience from one mood to the next. All the furniture was custom tailored to each room. With three terraces and a yoga room, the loft is family made.
