Last month I headed down to Tatiana and Campion Platt’s stylish Soho penthouse for a party celebrating the holiday season and the publication of Campion’s new book, Made to Order. The party was co-hosted by Sferra and my friend/design blogger extraordinaire, Ronda Carman.

Guests mingled all over the Platt’s expansive two-story loft—some even braved the cold to get a glimpse of the downtown skyline from their terrace. There were boldface names galore in attendance… I chatted with Martha Stewart (again, I resisted the urge to scream like I was an 11yr old girl at a Justin Bieber concert), designer Richard Mishaan, and author Susanna Salk.

Campion’s essays in the book are delightful to read—they’re conversational, they give practical advice, and they offer detailed explanations of what makes him tick as an architect and designer.
