Y’Liska Johnson was born and raised in Southern California, with roots in the Charleston, SC. She is a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design in NYC with a Bachelor degree in Strategic Design and Management. Her eclectic background in performance art and design has strongly influenced her work in a number of fields, including Event Production, Customer Service, Project Installations and Freelance Collaborative Art.
Mariem spent a decade as a derivatives trader at major investment banks prior to pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design. In addition to her MFA degree, Mariem has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from University College Dublin, a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics, and is a LEED Green Associate. Before joining Campion Platt, Mariem worked as an Interior Designer in residential and commercial interior design firms.
Cristina Estadella, a native New Yorker, graduated from The University of Michigan with a BA in History of Art and Photography. After a successful career as an Editorial Photographer, Cristina returned to school to pursue her other love, Interior Design. She graduated from The New York School of Interior Design with an AAS. Prior to joining Campion Platt, Cristina worked as a Junior Interior Designer at Dumais ID in New York City.
Scott Kielaszek graduated from the University of North Texas in May, 2015 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. While in Texas, Scott gained a wide range of experience from internships at high-end multifamily firm Dement Designs and Sports & Entertainment giant HKS. He moved to New York City shortly after graduation to pursue a career in Hospitality Design, ultimately joining the Campion Platt team.
Alexandra Chaves was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She started her studies in Architecture at Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas. Alexandra immigrated to the United States in 2002 and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters in Architecture at SCAD in Savannah, GA. In 2006 Alexandra moved to New York City. Before joining Campion Platt, Alexandra worked on high-end commercial and residential projects at Salvadeo Associates Architects and Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, and as a Senior Solar Designer at Safari Energy LLC.
Christine Carroll attended St. John’s University in New York City, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business. Immediately upon completion from college, Christine started working for Donghia Inc., in the accounting department where she fell in love with the design world. When Donghia Inc relocated, Christine was unable to relocate with the company. She then started worked in the accounting department for a computer forensics and electronic discovery technical services firm in New York City. Her love for design is what brought her back to the design world and landed her at Campion A. Platt. Christine has been working at the firm since June of 2007. Besides running the accounting department, she also handles human resources and operations for the firm.
